Connection is at the heart of everything I do.

I’m Tina Greene, founder of Nana’s Foundation, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and teen girls through mentorship, community, and access to trusted resources. We focus on mental and physical wellness, education and mentoring, vocational and business development, and relationships rooted in connection and spirituality. At its core, the foundation exists to make sure no one has to navigate life alone.

We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel. Instead, we act as a connector. We partner with therapists, educators, business owners, and other nonprofits so that when someone comes to us and says, “I need help,” we can guide them to the right person or resource. Whether it’s mental health support, career guidance, or simply someone to talk to, our role is to meet people where they are and help them move forward.

Because of that, my work is built on conversations.

Conversations with partners. Planning sessions. Follow-ups after events. Calls with women who are looking for support and direction.

And for a long time, managing everything that came after those conversations was harder than the conversations themselves.

The challenge

Too many tools, not enough time

Running a nonprofit like mine means wearing a lot of hats.

I’m the founder and executive director, and right now I’m also handling the kinds of responsibilities that would normally belong to an assistant. That means every meeting, note, and follow-up is on my plate.

Before using Calendly Notetaker, my workflow was fragmented. I was scheduling meetings in one place and taking notes somewhere else, then trying to piece together follow-ups. I tried other notetakers, but they came with their own challenges. Some would cut off if a meeting ran long. Other tools felt disconnected because they lived outside of my workflow — I still had to take what they captured and manually turn it into something actionable. And even then, I sometimes found myself second-guessing whether I’d captured everything I needed.

On top of that, I was still doing a lot of manual work. Writing notes during calls. Reconstructing conversations afterward. Trying to remember what needed to happen next.

When every conversation matters, you can't afford to lose pieces of it between tools.

The solution

One connected workflow that just works

Calendly was already a core part of how I run my organization. I’ve always said it feels like my assistant.

It manages my schedule, keeps everything organized, and helps me stay on track without needing another person.

Adding Notetaker felt like a natural extension of that.

Now, when I have a meeting, I don’t have to think about capturing everything myself. The summary and action steps are already there. I can go back, review what was discussed, and immediately see what needs to happen next.

What stands out most is that it works how I work. Before this, my workflow was split across multiple tools. Scheduling happened in one place, notes lived somewhere else, and follow-ups had to be built manually. Everything worked, but nothing was connected.

Now it all flows together. The meeting gets booked, the conversation is captured, and the follow-up is already in motion. I don’t have to jump between systems or worry about whether something is recorded correctly. It’s all part of the same process.

I also appreciate how natural Notetaker feels during meetings. It doesn’t pull my attention away from the conversation, and once things get going, it seems to fade into the background. That allows me to stay focused on the person I’m speaking with instead of thinking about capturing every detail.

The results

More time, better focus, and stronger follow-through

The biggest impact for me has been time.

Depending on the day, I’m saving anywhere from three to four hours that I would have spent taking notes or trying to recreate conversations afterward. That’s time I can put back into the work that actually matters: building relationships, supporting women in our community, and growing the foundation.

Notetaker has also changed how I show up in meetings.

I’m not thinking about what I need to write down or worried about missing something. I can stay fully present, listen, and engage in the conversation.

And when the meeting is over, I know exactly what the next steps are.

For an organization built on connection, that matters.

Every conversation we have is an opportunity to help someone move forward. Calendly Notetaker helps make sure those conversations don’t get lost, and that the follow-through is just as strong as the connection itself.

At this point, I don’t want to go back to juggling multiple tools.

Calendly already helps me manage my time. Now it helps me carry every conversation forward in a way that actually makes an impact.
