How to cancel a meeting

If your plans change, you can cancel a meeting from the Meetings page. Your invitee will be notified, and the meeting will be removed from your schedule.

If you need a new time, you can reschedule the meeting instead. Learn more in How to reschedule a meeting.


Cancel a meeting in Calendly

  1. Go to the Meetings page.
  2. Select the meeting.
  3. Select Cancel.
  4. (Optional) Add a cancellation message.
  5. Select Yes, cancel to confirm.

The meeting is canceled and your invitee receives a notification email.

Cancel group events (desktop)

Canceling the meeting removes it for all invitees. To remove a single invitee, select the three-dots-icon three dots next to their name, then Remove invitee.


Cancel a meeting from Google or Outlook calendar

If you connect your Google or Outlook calendar, you can cancel meetings directly from your calendar.

When you delete or cancel the event in your calendar, Calendly also cancels the meeting and notifies your invitee.
