Our product and our customers have grown exponentially since Calendly first greeted the world with a simple scheduling solution in 2013. In 2021, our look and feel are getting a welcome update to reflect the Calendly we are today.

Our brand line

When we were searching for a new direction, we played with many ideas, but they all boiled down to one central theme: Calendly makes your day flow a little smoother. Whether it’s finding intersections of time between two people’s calendars, automatically translating between time zones, or eliminating the thrash of rescheduling, Calendly makes conducting your business – or your daily life – easy and unblocked.

Our Voice

We aim to speak in a voice that feels natural and always steer clear of stale, old-fashioned, or cliché turns of phrase. And we take ourselves a little bit seriously – your success, after all, is serious business – but not so seriously that we can’t inject a little bit of humor into our writing here and there.

Design

Our new visual treatment reflects the vibrance and diversity of Calendly’s global community. No two customers have the same business or use Calendly the same way – and when they come together with one another, something surprising and fresh bursts forth from their meeting.

Our new logo + wordmark

Calendly’s new logo is a hollow C, ready to be filled by one of our colorful brand shapes. It’s fluid, frequently animated, and never the same twice – just like your day. The wordmark is an evolution of our original design. We’ve bolded the letterforms, tightened up the spacing, and capitalized the C to reflect the confidence and maturity of our scheduling platform.

Our diverse library of shapes can be rotated, they can be hollow outlines or filled with solid color, and they can be flat or 3-dimensional. But most importantly, they can overlap. When shapes come together, their overlapping space is filled with a surprising, contrasting color or pattern. To those of us here at Calendly, these intersections evoke the feeling of people coming together and creating something unique and exciting.

As part of our commitment to a refreshing brand voice, we felt compelled to create all-new photography for our content. Working with local Atlanta studio Chil + Co, we’ve developed a library of warm, candid lifestyle photos that portray people and businesses unburdened by scheduling chaos.

Illustration system

Some concepts in software are complex – too complex for photography or even words. In those moments we choose thoughtful illustrations created for us by UK artist Mike Lemanski to help convey technological ideas in a beautiful, universally understandable way.
